BeeHive Homes® of Roy will host a formal ribbon cutting ceremony at their new facility located at 4965 S 3500 W Roy UT 84067 on Wednesday, May 3rd at noon. Light lunch will be served. Members of the public who would like an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new facility are also encouraged to attend.
BeeHive Homes® is a national provider of residential assisted living for the elderly. Its homes operate on a smaller scale than many assisted living facilities, housing only eight to sixteen residents each. This home-style approach allows for more personal care and provides a much-needed solution for small towns and rural communities that would otherwise not be able to offer assisted living services to their elderly.
According to the Population Resource Center, the number of people age 65 or older in the U.S. will nearly double between 2000 and 2030, while the ratio of workers to retirees continues to decline.
