Community Christmas of Weber & Davis counties is seeking community participation from businesses, organizations or groups to host Giving Tree locations.

This is our 9th year hosting this magnificent event for families in Weber and Davis counties.  The event is a program of the Ogden Weber Community Action Partnership.  Our 100% volunteer board and committee will serve 2000 children this coming Christmas.  Community Christmas fills the gap for families at Christmas time that would otherwise not be served.  We provide toys, clothing, coats, boots, and food for the holidays for these families.  It’s important to point out that these are families not already being served by Toys For Tots, Salvation Army, or other local organizations.  Our most productive way to provide the families with support is to host Giving Tree locations in the community.

What does it mean to host a Giving Tree Location?

We supply paper ornaments that list items and ages that we need donations for. Your clients, visitors and staff can then select an ornament from your lobby Christmas tree and put their donations back in the Collection Box that we provide. Our marketing team does a great job of including your logos on all of our outgoing marketing materials and supplying you with great posts to share on your social media to announce your participation and encouragement to visit your business to participate with a donation of toys, clothing, etc. Last year we had 62 Giving Tree locations, and this year we anticipate needing nearly 100 Giving Tree locations to fill the needs of this year's anticipated families.
