Snowbasin Resort is gearing up for winter and finishing up a few projects to improve the guest experience. In the base area, Snowbasin spent the summer doing a renovation of Earl’s Lodge that will increase seating capacity in the Cinnabar by 50 percent. This renovation is the precursor for expanded seating in both the Huntington Room and Main Dining Room on the docket for completion next winter. Adding more seating in the Cinnabar will allow more guests to enjoy the full bar and gastro pub style food while listening to the free music every weekend throughout the winter.

Snowbasin’s mountain operations team worked over the summer grading and widening the existing Mt. Ogden Bowl Road, creating a more consistent pitch that will enable earlier grooming in the season to provide intermediate level skiers and riders with a better experience coming down from John Paul Lodge.

With the success of private lesson early access on the weekends last season, Snowbasin Snow Sports School is excited to offer early access during private lessons 7 days a week. Guests can book a lesson for themselves or grab their four closest friends and hit the slopes for an hour before the public. Plus, adults wanting to perfect their skills can sign up for the 3 day Steeps Clinic or the 3 day Women’s Clinic taught by two-time Olympian, Jillian Vogtli.

The best way to enjoy these new improvements is to purchase a season pass at Snowbasin Resort. For the best price, guests should buy before September 3. Snowbasin offers a variety of pass products to cater to everyone. The adult passes start at just $489 for a midweek pass and go up in price, offering more benefits with each product. The value pass for adults is $599 offering access to Snowbasin with some blackout dates during holidays. The premier pass for adults is $799 and offers unlimited access and the additional benefits of 5 days at Sun Valley, 50% off Mountain Collective destinations, private lesson discounts, 2018 summer access (until October 7) and so much more.

The youth (ages 7-12), teen (ages 13-18), and young adult (ages 19-26) passes are all premier passes offering unlimited access and the additional benefits of 5 days at Sun Valley, 50% off Mountain Collective destinations, private lesson discounts, 2018 summer access and so much more. Snowbasin Resort is a hidden gem with easy access from Ogden, Salt Lake City, and Park City. Touting 3,000 acres and 3,000 vertical Snowbasin’s terrain has a lot to offer every skier and rider out there. Furthermore, Snowbasin is regularly ranked in the top 10 by Ski Magazine for Service, Grooming and Lifts. These are just a few reasons Snowbasin is perfect place to spend the winter months in Utah and the best way to do that is by purchasing a season pass. Remember the price goes up September 3, 2018.
