is hosting a public information forum

Speakers will make brief presentations on the seven ballot measures:

Constitutional Amendment A: Makes more flexible the tax exemption for military members called into service.

Constitutional Amendment B: Allows tax exemption for private property leased by a government entity.

Constitutional Amendment C: Allows the legislature, not just the governor, to convene special sessions under special circumstances.

Non-binding Opinion Question One: Would supply critically needed funds for education and local roads through a 10 cent gas tax increase.

Proposition 2: Legalizes the use of medical marijuana. Speakers also will explain the “compromise” promised by the state legislature.

Proposition 3: Expands Medicaid for needy individuals and families.

Proposition 4: Creates an independent redistricting commission for legislative boundaries.
