The Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with local businesses to host its first annual #ShopWeber Giveaway from November 16th to December 14th. Giveaway prizes include a cash grand prize of $1,000 and items valued at $50 or more.
The giveaway will be hosted on Facebook, with more than 30 Weber County businesses involved. To enter the giveaway, entrants must take a selfie at a participating business, use the hashtag, ShopWeber, tag the Chamber and tag the business. Winners will be selected by a random drawing on December 17th and announced on Facebook. Winners will also be notified via Facebook Messenger.
Lauren Kutschke, the Chamber’s Marketing and Communications Director, said, “We are thrilled to host this giveaway. Our goal is to encourage the community to shop right here in Weber County. It’s a chance to help local businesses, while also giving back to the community in a fun, engaging way. It’s right in line with our mission.”
Chamber President and CEO, Chuck Leonhardt, said, “The ShopWeber program has been in development for over three years. It strikes at the heart and soul of what the Chamber of Commerce is all about. If consumers get engaged in shopping at our brick and mortar stores during the holiday shopping season, perhaps they will keep on supporting our local economy all year long.”
