Community Art for April’s First Friday Art Stroll

Social Distancing, No Problem

March 27, 2020 – Ogden, UT – Ogden City Arts is implementing a virtual art stroll for April. Starting today up until Thursday, April 2 we want to see your art. Be featured on our First Friday Art Stroll by using the hashtag #OgdenSharesArt. Have you made a painting, a drawing, or a craft or two at home? If you are a local business such as a coffee shop show us your coffee art. Did you make a food dish, cake or cupcakes? Show us. Use the hashtag and we will feature it on Instagram (Ogden_Arts) and Facebook (@OgdenCityArts & @OgdensFirstFridayArtStroll) on Friday, April 3 from 6-9 p.m.

Ogden City’s Art Coordinator, Lorie Buckley said, “Show your community pride and your creativity with this new way of enjoying art together.”

With everyone staying inside why not share your art? Let’s help each other out by supporting everyone’s creativity. For now, this will be the way we art stroll, but this health crisis shouldn’t stop anyone from enjoying or making art. Ogden City is home to many creatives. Join us in sharing Ogden’s art in this time of change. Everyone is welcome to join our art stroll participants this month. Art comes in many different forms. Be creative, be unique and have fun with it.

If you have art to share that is for sale put your information on your photo with the #OgdenSharesArt. We want to support all creatives in Ogden. Share the information with everyone including your kids, friends and students.

Use #OgdenSharesArt between Friday, March 27 – Thursday, April 2. We will feature your images and video clips on Friday, April 3 from 6-9 p.m. on our social media outlets.
